I was rummaging around my makeup collection the other day when I stumbled across a lip product I had never tried before. I think it must've been a free sample in a beauty box or something and the colour terrified me a little which is probably why I never even tested it but, when I found it the other day it got me a little curious to try it. The lip product in question is from Too Faced a brand I've heard so much about but only ever tried one eyeshadow palette from before and it was there Melted Fuchsia Lipstick that caught my attention.
I've been wanting a new lipstick for a while something light and creamy on the lips, I'm not a big fan of lipglosses as I find them too sticky unless they are the liquid lipsticks, but lately I've wanted a bit more of a sheen to my lips so I thought I'd give this a go. It's a sponge applicator and as you squeeze the tube the product sinks through. I'm not going to lie I thought this would be a nightmare to apply especially because the colour seems so bright but it actually applied really easily. The sponge sticks to your lips a little making it easier to apply instead of just slipping all over the place. Although the product is really well pigmented it's not quite as vibrant as I was expecting but I quite like this as I'm not really into bright and bold lips at the moment. It's much more muted down.
The Melted Lipstick feels really nice on the lips. It does feel quite moisturising especially compared to liquid lipsticks at the moment and considering it's colour pay off. It doesn't feel tacky on your lips at all, in fact it feels like you're wearing nothing more than lip balm. I feel like you'd get better results if you did line your lips first however. I will definitely be trying out different shades as I'm surprised by how much I like the product and the colour of it too. I might have to have a cheeky Too Faced splurge soon, I saw their chocolate palette in person for the first time the other day and it looked amazing. Also everyone always raves about the brand so I might need to invest in a few pieces.
Have you tried the Melted Lipsticks from Too Faced, or any other product? Let me know your favourite below.

BEAUTY: Nars The Multiple
I've wanted to try some Nars products for a couple of years now so when I went into Space NK about two months ago now I went in specifically to pick up a lipstick but as they didn't have the colour I wanted I came out with The Multiple in the shade 'Orgasm'.
I'd heard a few beauty bloggers talking about the product and obviously, the Nars powder blushers have always been raved about so much, so I was really intrigued. So I've been using the blusher non-stop since I picked it up and I'm obsessed with it. It's a cream blusher in a stick form which I find really easy to apply. The blusher is incredibly creamy so it's very easy to blend, it's also really pigmented but I find that it's so easy to use that you never end up looking like a clown. The product also has a bit of shimmer in it so it can also act as a highlight if your careful with how you apply it.
I absolutely adore this product, it's a perfect pinky shade that looks like a natural flush too. I keep meaning to pick up a different shade and I think they do an actual highlight so I need to get to my nearest Nars counter soon.
Have you tried Nars The Multiple yet? Let me know what you think.

BEAUTY: NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams
Everyone is talking about NYX Cosmetics at the moment, ever since Boots started stocking the brand. Yesterday, I had a couple of bits I needed to pick up before I went away and decided to have a little mooch around the counter. I behaved myself since I know I'm going to do so much shopping in Trafford Center later this week and just picked up two of their Soft Matte Lip Creams.
The Soft Matte Lip Creams are basically a liquid lipstick. They apply with a lipgloss applicator but are incredibly pigmented. They apply quite glossy and sticky before drying down on the lips into a matte finish. I have a love hate relationship with liquid lipsticks. I find that they are either too sticky and don't dry out enough and end up getting all over your teeth or they don't apply as much colour as I like. These, however, are the perfect formula. They apply sticky to begin with which makes it really easy to apply but then they dry out and stay on your lips for an incredibly long time.
Despite the matte formula, I don't find the product drying on the lips either. They feel really creamy and they don't peel like a lot of lipgloss. They also don't hug the dry patches on your lips too which I like. There are so many colours to pick from I ended up with Cannes and Istanbul but I was eyeing up Sao Paulo too. I love both the colours I picked up. Cannes looks a bit more brown/pink in the tube but applied on me as very deep colour. Whereas Istanbul is definitely more of a baby pink shade, perfect for spring/summer. I would definitely check out the NYX counter if you have one near you. It's really affordable for some great quality products.

BEAUTY: All the Nudes
Today I thought I would share with you my go to every day lipsticks. I always love watching Youtube videos of peoples top 10 favourite lipsticks etc, but thought I would share with you my everyday lipsticks.
Charlotte Tilbury - Amazing Grace
This is probably my all time favourite lipstick, it's part of the Matte Revolution range and I adore it. It was the first product I ever tried from Charlotte Tilbury and clearly wasn't disappointed. It's quite a natural colour, it's a very rosy pink with a hint of red in there and I always feel really put together when I wear it. I love that it's matte because it lasts ages on the lips. It can be a little bit drying but I tend to just put on some lipbalm before application. I find that this lipstick works well regardless of the season and it really brightens up your look.
Rimmel - Let's Get Naked
This lipstick I bring out every summer and it's the only lipstick I've ever repurchased. It's a peachy nude and looks amazing with a coral blusher. I love the formula of this lipstick, I try not to wear quite so many matte lipsticks in the summer just because I prefer the glossier look for this time of the year. Let's Get Naked is part of Rimmel's Moisture Renew range. They're long lasting despite the fact they have a glossy finish. I just love the colour of this lipstick, I do struggle to wear corals and peaches as they tend to drain my colouring but this looks really pretty on the lips.
Clinique - Nude Pop
This is a great go to nude, its kind of a cross between the Rimmel and Maybelline ones mentioned in colouring, its quite pinky with a hint of peach in there. Its really moisturising on the lips and because of the primer benefits the lipstick is really long lasting too. The colour is also perfect for if you've got a smoky eye going off, this is the perfect nude to go along side it.
Maybelline - Pink Fling
Part of their Blushed Nudes Collection, this has been my latest addition to my lipstick collection. I love the baby pink colour, I think it's hard to find a baby pink that doesn't look too barbie doll, but this, for me, is perfect. Its got a creamy texture too and is super glossy. I've been reaching for this a lot for the last month. It's very girly but a nude so incredibly easy to wear.
There we have it, my everyday lipsticks. When I don't know which lipstick to go for, these four never fail me. What are you favourite lipsticks?

BEAUTY: Tanya Burr - Duvet Day
I love a good beauty blogger release every now and again, and today comes one of my favourite products at the moment in the form of Tanya Burr's nail polish in the shade 'Duvet Day'.
I bought this from feelunique.com and so I didn't know for sure what the colour would look in person but I absolutely love it. It's pale grey but can look a little blue in some lights which I really love. It kind of reminds me of the Nails Inc The New White Collection in that it is more white based with a hint of colour thrown in. It's a very muted and clean shade on the nails and will definitely go with anything that you're wearing. I also think that Duvet Day is a very classy and chic colour for your nails too.
The formula of these nail polishes are beautiful too. It's quite thick which allows the colour to stand out and two coats and you're good to go. I would definitely recommend these nail polishes and considering picking up a few more shades. The packaging is super cute too, with a gold lid that comes off to reveal the turn applicator.
Have you tried any Tanya Burr Cosmetics yet?

BEAUTY: Fleur De Force Make Up Range
I am a huge fan of Fleur De Force she was one of the first beauty guru's that I started following when I got into watching YouTube about four years ago and was always one of my favourites. When I watched her video announcing that she was releasing her own make up range, exclusively with feelunique.com, I was so excited and saved a little bit of money in order to make a couple of cheeky purchases.
I ordered a lipgloss and a eyeshadow quad so that I could give both products a test and see what they were like. First off I picked up Fleur de Force's lipgloss in 'Starry Starry Night' this was the product that I wanted the most. I love a good berry lip in autumn and winter and this doesn't disappoint. It's a very bold lip in a pink berry colour which is one of my favourite shades of lip colours to wear. The application is really good, there is a lot of pigmentation within the product and it's similar to the Bourjois Velvet Matte Lipstick with the idea of the product. It's almost a liquid lipstick. I love the fact that the lipgloss doesn't feel tacky or sticky in anyway and are actually quite moisturising on the lips. I was quite surprised by this little product, I'm not usually a huge lipgloss person but this has started to convert me. Plus the vanilla scent is absolutely gorgeous too.
I also purchased an eyeshadow quad in 'Lunar Rose'. Since the package arrived with my little treats in I haven't stopped using this small palette. I've got a lot of nude coloured palettes so wanted to try something different and this is a perfect addition to my collection. I've been loving using the top two colours. The pink shade as an all over the lid shade and the sparkly, purple/brown shade in the crease of the eye for an everyday look. Again the quality is superb especially considering the price of these products. I've been wearing them all day and they haven't budged and that's without a primer. Its definitely become my go to palette at the moment.
As well, as purchasing the lipgloss and quad, I also received the Fleur de Force compact mirror which is adorable. I love the watercolour background. I'm lusting after the makeup bag now and more of the lipgloss. It's definitely worth looking into the range and trying a few bits out, there's definitely a little something for everyone in the range. Well done Fleur and I can't wait to see more in the collection.

BEAUTY: Max Factor Creme Puff Blush
Blusher was never my strong point. I was always incredibly scared that I was going to be one of these people who would always apply way too much and look like a clown - sometimes I'm just a little too heavy handed and instead of being gentle when it comes to makeup. However, I've been obsessed with using the Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in 'Lovely Pink' recently.
I picked it up ages ago from Boots when they were first released as I thought it looked so pretty. It looks a little like marble and that's what drew me in. 'Lovely Pink' is a natural pink shade with a hint of peach/gold shimmer running through it. I think this is so pretty on the skin. It's quite subtle which I like but you can also build it up a little. It looks incredibly natural and I find that the blusher really helps to brighten up my face too due to the shimmer in it. It lasts all day too, I don't find that it wears off easily or slips around my face like cream blushers sometimes can.
I've been using this all the time recently and if it's not been this I've been using my Benefit blush. 'Lovely Pink' I feel will look great on any skin tone, It's a blush that I think is essential in any girls makeup bag. Whether you want to go for a heavy makeup look or just a subtle 'no makeup, makeup' look I think this blush is perfect for all occasions. I'm intrigued in the rest of the collection too.
Have you tried any of the blushers from the new Max Factor range? What were your thoughts?

BEAUTY: Zoeva Rose Golden Collection
Every blogger and their mother has spoken about the Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Set and I've had my eye on them for a while now but I kept putting off buying them for one reason or another. I finally caved a little ago and I'm so happy that I did. I store the brushes in a Ted Baker pot that I picked up from Boots at Christmas. It used to have a candle inside but I just burnt that down and cleaned the pot out and think that the Zoeva brushes look absolutely gorgeous stored inside.
First off they look so beautiful with the black and rose gold, they look a lot more expensive than what they are too. The brushes are incredibly soft too, I wasn't expecting them to be quite so soft, but it makes applying your makeup really lovely. The brushes come in a brown leather makeup bag with rose gold lettering and hardware which has been living in my bag since they arrived.
I love the 127 Luxe Sheer Cheek I tend to use this to apply bronzer as it applies the product really lightly which is how I like my bronzer to look. It's the perfect shape, in my opinion, to contour your cheeks also and I've been using this brush most days. I've also been loving the 142 Concealer Buffer in particular to blend concealer around my nose and under my eyes. It's the perfect size to get into these smaller areas. Before I just used my fingers to blend concealer but you can tell the difference when using the brush. I also really love the 102 Silk Finish brush to apply my foundation. I loved the Real Techniques Buffing Brush but I find that this is slightly more dense and leaves my foundation looking flawless.
Finally, I've been using the eye brushes pretty much everyday. I've been desperate to buy the Mac eyeshadow brushes but I never get around to it, now that these are in my life though I can settle. The 227 Luxe Soft Definer and 231 Luxe Petit Crease brushes have made applying eyeshadow so much easier and my eyeshadow looks a lot better than what it used to. I definitely need to invest in more of these brushes that's for sure.

BEAUTY: Clinique Pop Lip Colour & Primer
A couple of weeks ago Clinique released they're new collection of Pop Lip Colour & Primer and after browsing the shades last pay day I picked up Melon Pop which is a pale peach colour, it's quite a nude lipstick but a shade that I like to wear an awful lot. The lipsticks are supposed to have a primer within them, which I take for that they're supposed to be long lasting.
I was quite impressed with Melon Pop it was a shade I liked and it did last a long time however it did begin to peel a little after some time. I wasn't too bothered about this anyway, because I do normally reapply lipstick throughout the day. I decided to take the plunge about two weeks ago and pick up another shade of Plum Pop. I saw it the day of their release and I really liked it, but I didn't know how wearable it would be with it being a plum tone, I tend to only wear these sort of shades in autumn/winter. I kept seeing Lily Pebbles talking about it on her channel and wearing it and fell in love with the shade so I took the plunge.
I was a lot more impressed with Plum Pop. The shade is the perfect your lips but better, for me. It's got those more purple/red/pink tone which tends to suit my skin tone a lot better and it's really flattering. It's a nice 'pop' of a colour but still very wearable. Since buying it, it's been the only lipstick that I've been wearing. I am tempted to go back and look through the collection again and possibly pick up another colour. It lasts a long time on the lips and Id didn't feel that this one peeled. It also lasted well through eating and drinking too, which really impressed.

BEAUTY: The Body Shop Honey Bronze
I'm not usually one for bronzer, I have quite pale skin so sometimes I find that bronzers can look quite 'muddy'. However, after hearing EssieButton mentioning The Body Shop's 'Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder' I decided to pick it up a while back but only really just started using it a lot.
I wasn't really expecting to like the bronzer as I never enjoyed using them before but I picked it up in the lightest shade and find it suits my skin tone really well. It just adds that little bit of warmth to my face that I've really needed at the moment. The winter has made me look incredibly pale so using The Body Shop's 'Honey Bronze' has really made an impact.

(wearing the bronzer above)
I find it's quite light but can be built up to a more darker tone, but it doesn't give that muddy look. As it's a matte bronzer you can use it more as a contour in the hollows of your cheeks to give your face more shape too. I've been applying it using the Zoeva Luxe Sheer Cheek Brush to ensure that I haven't applied too much. If you're looking for a new light bronzer, I would definitely recommend The Body Shop's 'Honey Bronze'.

BEAUTY: FOTD - Fresh Faced
I tend to get into a rut when it comes to my makeup, for as long as I can remember my look has always consisted of mainly black eyeliner. When I was fourteen I used to wear heavy eyeliner (I was going through my 'emo' phase). Eyeliner on my waterline has always been the look that I consider 'me'. It's what I'm comfortable with - mostly because I can't do winged liner. Anyway, I've recently been trying to use new products and finally stopped wearing so much black khol liner on my waterline.
For my base I wore my Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation (Classic Ivory), I find the coverage is perfect for me, it's quite light to medium coverage when built up and the colour matches well with my skin tone. I blend this in with the Real Techniques Buffing Brush. Next up, I used the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (Fair) to get rid of any dark circles. I apply this in a triangle shape beneath the eye to brighten up the entire under eye area and just use my finger to blend this in. I apply a little bit of Rimmel Stay Matte (Translucent) powder just to set my base with the Real Techniques Powder Brush. I then brush through my eyebrows before using The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder and applying this in a 'three' shape from my temples, to the hollows of my cheeks and then my jawline, I use the Zoeva Luxe Sheer Cheek Brush as it does apply really lightly and as I'm pale I don't want to add too much. Then I move on to blush and I've been using the Max Factor Creme Puff Blush (Lovely Pink). Finally I've just been using Maybelline The Colossal Mascara as I find it gives you really voluminousness looking eyelashes with just one coat and makes my eyes look really big. Finally I've been using Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick (Amazing Grace) on my lips.
When I don't have much going on with my eyes, I like to have a bold lip and I find the Charlotte Tilbury lipstick gives me a bit more colour but still looks very natural too. This is the look that I've been loving wearing at the moment and I think it's a perfect look for spring.

BEAUTY: Charlotte Tilbury Lip Products
Last year it felt like you couldn't go on YouTube without someone mentioning Charlotte Tilbury products and I'm not going to lie it really made me want to try some of her products, especially her lip products. Her products have been getting amazing reviews which is not surprising as she is a makeup artist so surely she knows what we really need from out of our makeup?
After noticing that her products were a little discounted on the Selfridges website I decided to have a little snoop around after Christmas. What is it about discounts in January where we tell ourselves it's okay to spend more money than usual? I've been desperate to try out the Lip Cheat Re-shape & Re-size Lip Liner in 'Pink Venus' (not pictured) ever since I Covet Thee featured it on her blog, I loved that post. I already purchased the lip balm from that blog as soon as I saw it. I couldn't not pick this up. Sometimes I don't want to wear a bold or dark lip and just want a little bit of colour that I know will last all day. This does exactly that. It's a peachy-pink nude shade and looks absolutely gorgeous if you're doing a 'no-makeup makeup day' or if you've got a heavy eye makeup on and want a simple lip. The pigmentation is lovely in the lip liner and I've been wearing this an awful lot recently.
I've been really surprised how much I've been loving these lip products. Also, the packaging is gorgeous. They're quite heavy so feel luxurious and are in rose gold casing - who doesn't love a bit of rose gold? I'm definitely looking into purchasing some more products at payday that's for sure. I've never really bought into expensive/luxury makeup before other than the Urban Decay Naked Palette's but I am blown away by how much I love the Charlotte Tilbury products. I know my bank account will hate me in a couple of hours time when I get paid again.
Have you tried any Charlotte Tilbury products? What do you love?

('Amazing Grace')
I also picked up two of her Matte Revolution Lipsticks (I am addicted to lip products). I wanted a slightly bolder but a natural coloured shade, not really a nude but something that was quite simple (does that even make sense?) I picked out the colour 'Amazing Grace' which is a gorgeous pink/red/peach colour. It's a lot brighter than the original pencil I bought but it doesn't look too bold compared to some lipsticks that I love to wear. When I haven't been wearing the lip liner this is what I've been using. It's just really simple and easy to wear and also makes your entire makeup look a lot brighter and healthier. I feel like this would look lovely throughout the entire year too, whereas some colours you can only wear in the winter and others are summer shades, this is just very neutral without being a true nude tone. I like how moisturising it feels on the lips too. Again, the pigmentation is amazing but I wouldn't expect anything else. Finally, I love the smell of this lipstick, is that weird? I say it about my Soap & Glory Lipsticks too but they just smell gorgeous.
('Glastonberry')
Finally, I also decided to buy 'Glastonberry' because who doesn't love a berry lip in the winter? I also really loved Zoe's Makeup Tutorial on her channel when she used this and had been dying to try it. Again it's really moisturising on the lips and very pigmented. It's not one that I'm wearing everyday just because I've been wearing a more simple, natural looking makeup at the moment, but I absolutely love the colour. I have a lot of plums and berry colours in my collection but this is quite unique.I've been really surprised how much I've been loving these lip products.

BEAUTY: FOTD Trick or Treat
As they are one of my favourite posts to read, I thought I'd share what makeup I wore the other day. I wanted to do a smokey eye and make that the focus, therefore I kept my base natural along with my lips. I also wanted to use my Naked 3 Palette which doesn't get as much love as I wish I did, so having an extra ten minutes decided to have a little play with it.
What are your favourite autumn eyeshadow shades?

BEAUTY: B. Cheeky Blushers
I've mentioned the brand B. before which is exclusive to Superdrug, talking about their Light Hydrating Foundation (click here). Today, I wanted to shine a light on two blushers which I have been absolutely loving this summer. I bought my first B. Cheeky Blusher around November time, and I can remember telling my friend, Charlie, to pick one up. I originally bought 'Candy Cane' which is a sweet pink colour. It's perfect for a more natural look or if you've gone for heavy eye makeup or a bold lip and want something to tone the look down more. I really liked this during the winter as it gave me that touch of colour and looked more natural.

(L-R) 'Sherbet', 'Candy Cane'
'Candy Cane'
However, as soon as the weather began to pick up I decided to have a little a look at their other colours and picked up 'Sherbet' this is my favourite blusher I've owned. It's perfect for spring and summer. I'm not massively into bronzers as they always look a little too orange on me, so I went for this peach shade in the hope it would make me look a little more tanned. I love the colour and thinks it adds just the right amount of tint, it made me look a little more bronzed and glowing (just a note, I am incredibly pale naturally). It also looks very natural and is very buildable.
'Sherbet'
The B. Cheeky Blushers are powder blushers, but I find that they stay on all day and they look really natural too. They're not chalky at all. I use a little Kabuki Brush that I picked up from Superdrug to apply it and find that it works really well. They have a range of different shades and I am tempted to pick up another but these two are definitely worth looking into. 'Candy Cane' is more of an everyday kind of shade and 'Sherbet' is a very summery shade.Like I've previously said, I've been using the 'Sherbet' since March and you can see that it's not even close to being finished, so they also last for a long time too. They usually cost, £5.99 but at the moment they are on offer at £2.99 on Superdrug's website, so get them whilst they're cheap.♥

Beauty: B Naked Light Hydrating Foundation
Hi guys,
I used to be the sort of person who didn't wear foundation at all. When I was in Year 10 I used to wear a mineral foundation which I loved from Collection (2000) but it was either discontinued or the formula changed which meant I didn't repurchase it. I then moved on to simply using a compressed powder by Rimmel as I've never needed much coverage (or wanted it, I'm scared of going orange). My fear of a liquid foundation (and foundation altogether) has dissolved since I found this beauty.
This is the B. Naked Light Hydrating Foundation. After researching the brand a little, 'B' is exclusive to Superdrug, I think it's like Superdrug's version of No.7 for Boots (but don't quote me on it). I discovered this foundation a couple of months ago when I was browsing the makeup aisle on my lunch break from work and tested it on my wrist. I noticed immediately that it blended very well and you couldn't see much of a difference between my skin colour and the foundation. Usually, I find it quite difficult to match myself to a foundation, they are either too yellow or too orange, however, this one suited me perfectly.
I knew that this foundation was good (for me) because I actually repurchased and when it comes to foundations I never repurchase them. It's a great daily foundation, and I set it with my Rimmel Stay Matte powder. I haven't had any extra breakouts since using the product. The foundation usually costs £8.99 but is currently on offer at £5.99 (bargain!).
For those of you who prefer a fuller coverage foundation, the brand does also offer this in the same colour ranges but in a fuller coverage foundation and I am curious to try it out for those days or evenings when I want extra coverage.
